Although the two are roughly on par in terms of the adjusted, total amount of injuries per total number of workers, the bulk of accidents in Manufacturing are of a different nature than the ones in Health.
According to the AWCBC, over one third of all accidents that happen in a Canadian manufacturing setting are traumas, likely due to falls or improper handling of equipment and/or tools.
